Vivit  Members' Responsibilities:

All member activity is governed by our Bylaws and Policies.

Membership Fees:

Vivit is an independent users group which provides an infrastructure of support, education, and networking for members.  Members can join as either Public (non-dues paying) or Supporting members.   To learn more about the benefits and comparisons between Public and Supporting Members, please read our Membership Benefits Pamphlet.  You may also find answers to your questions about Supporting Membership in our Frequently Asked Questions link.
  
If your company has more than one staff person interested in Vivit membership, Vivit also offers you a way to easily manage those accounts with a single admin interface and offers discounts for groups of 5 or more. See Corporate Membership for further details.

Membership Profile:

All members at any level are required to provide certain profile data in our membership data base to be kept up to date - at least annually.  (This data is not shared with other vendors or HP without your explicit permission) Besides your basic contact info, we'll ask you to periodically review the information you have provided about your HP Software environment. We only give your email and product information to 3rd parties with your specific opt-in, so rest assured that the information is only used to help us better provide services to the HP Software professional community.

Membership Categories:

Regardless of the paying status elected, there are also 2 types or categories of Memberships available:
  1. Standard Membership
    All individuals who are employed in an organization with a current license for an Hewlett-Packard Software products or are employed by Partner vendors and related technology vendors are eligible for the Standard membership.  Membership is held by the individual.  Only Standard members are eligible to be elected to a position of officer or Director of Vivit .
  2. HP Employee Membership
    If you are employed by HP, you can join Vivit as an HP Employee member. HP Employee members are not permitted to be on the Vivit  Board of Directors or vote in Board elections.

You must select the appropriate membership type when you register as well. You can update your profile at any time. So if your job situation changes, simply login and edit your profile to reflect any new information or the appropriate membership category.  Update your member profile.
