Hewlett Packard Enterprise supports Wounded Warriors, strengthens cyber defense
The Wounded Warrior Cyber Combat Academy*, a.k.a. W2CCA, is building the next generation of cyber defenders.
W2CCA's approach is novel and invaluable. Their "students" are military service members who have suffered a serious life-altering injury, either in combat or non-combat situations. These people are dedicated, highly motivated, disciplined and trustworthy team players sought by both industry and government. Once trained, they protect and defend the nation's information systems.
The W2CCA program is administered by the Federal IT Security Institute (FITSI) on behalf of the Federal IT Security Institute Foundation – both non-profit organizations working with industry partners to support this worthwhile initiative.
Hewlett Packard Enterprise Software along with Jim Wiggins, Executive Director of FITSI, will be honored to support the W2CCA at the 2016 HPE Government Summit at the Washington Hilton on April 13.
Please stop by the W2CCA table located just outside the HPE/Partner Exhibit Hall. Receive a T-shirt and enter a raffle for a chance to win an HP laptop and HP printer. All donations from this event will go toward retraining Wounded Warriors to become cyber defenders.
