HP Software Education - University Program in APJ

Posted By Helen Drew, Thursday, September 19, 2013

A little more than 2 years ago, we decided to experiment with a University Program that focused on providing Education on HP Software technology to University students at affordable prices. Now, we are happy to announce that this program has now attained critical mass. By the end of FY13 more than 2000 students would have participated in this program, contributing to the "employability” of students, encouraging "Technopreneurship” amongst them and building important mindshare amongst local government & education sectors

Started in Malaysia as a partnership between the Ministries of Education & Finance, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) and HP along with our local partner TEL, we have now expanded the program to 5 more Universities in Malaysia. This year we also rolled it out in India through our local partners and are already seeing a significant uptake across multiple Indian cities.
