New HP Service Manager, Smart Analytics and ITSM Deployment Manager available now

Posted By Michael Pott, Thursday, December 18, 2014

HP Service Manager 9.40, the latest release of HP’s on-premise Big Data service desk, released on December 19.
There are many reasons to take a look at this game changing release. Here are a few:

  • A transformed user experience with a redesigned UI
  • New reporting and dashboards with more than 100 instant reports supporting a variety of distribution formats
  • A new simplified request management process and codeless configuration for all key processes with Process Designer enables fast deployment and provides superior agility.
  • A flexible and easy to use survey module, improved incident, problem, change and service level management moves your key ITIL processes to the next level.

HP Service Manager Smart Analytics embeds HP Haven technology, and makes interactions with the service desk easy. It automates and speeds up the support process and provides a quick jump-start for proactive management. Now, with HP Service Manager 9.40 Smart Analytics, you can even build your own use cases by using data from any Service Manager module to analyze Big Data and drive action.

Last but not least, the latest release of HP ITSM Deployment Manager further decreases TTV and improves TCO. Now bundled with Service Manager, it reduces installation complexity by hiding patch dependencies, installs and configures Smart Analytics and allows you to create and deploy HP ITSM Appliances quickly, including Service Manager, Universal CMDB, Discovery, Configuration Manager and Release Control.
