New HPE Asset Manager 9.60 Release Improves User Experience with AM Browser

Posted By Nick Rendall, Thursday, July 21, 2016

The recent release of HPE Asset Manager 9.60 will provide users with a vastly improved user experience via the new Asset Manager (AM) Browser. After the similar success of the popular UCMDB Browser within HPE CMS, it was clear that this simplified and “Google-like” information interface could also be optimized to search and display assets with HPE Asset Manager, and this interface was delivered within the AM 9.60 release in July.

Asset views can be created and customized in numerical and graphical formats, and better yet, exact asset views can be created based on a user’s role within the organization in order to ensure that a variety of data consumers are only seeing information relevant to them. Advanced query language (AQL) is supported to get required customized views within an organization. The AM Browser is an exciting development in the world of Asset Management and will immediately provide value for IT asset managers around the world.
