Crank up the Voltage with HPE Data Security Training

Posted By Mary Rasmussen, Thursday, July 21, 2016

Back when most of us and those that are the leaders of today where growing up, the idea of Data Security was simply locking records in file cabinets and controlling access to the environment and keys used to get the information.  But with the growth of the Internet and the ideas of information in the Cloud, we need to look at how the information of today is protected and secured.

For these reasons and many more, HPE Software Education is proud to introduce our DataSecrity course to help organizations prepare for the ever changing dynamic information age and the concepts of IoT of tomorrow.  HPE Security – Data Security  (formerly Voltage) solutions are design to help organization be agile in protecting and securing their environments for retail and payment and for the numerous industries or government standards that they required for compliance.

The DataSecurity course is designed to provide an active hands-on approach that will help extend an organization information security footprint and provide foundational knowledge on how to configure and operate the solution.  This course provides insight on how HPE helped establish the NIST format-preserving encryption standards and how the different data encryption and tokenization solutions work.  It will help candidates understand the different forms of Encryption and Tokenization technologies:

·         Identity-Based Encryption (IBE)

·         Format-Preserving Encryption (FPE)

·         Secure Stateless Tokenization

·         Stateless Key Management
