Presentations:

Boeing Commercial Aviation Services (CAS): Improving MTTR by 90% Using HP APM and BSM - David Cornette, Boeing

Boeing’s Commercial Aviation Services group implemented the HP BAC tool suite to improve availability and performance for one of its critical applications in 2005, and saw enormous gains both in terms of improved service levels to its customers and in reducing the cost required to perform incident management for that application.  Based on the success of that initial implementation, Boeing expanded use of that BAC implementation into a service offering that is monitoring ~160 applications.  This presentation walks through the success stories and the methodology behind the BAC implementation that produced such impressive results at Boeing.

Predictive and Productive Analysis for BSM in Virtualized Environments - Rob Calfee, J9 Technologies

What is the normal behavior of your application transaction performance? And how does the normal metric behavior of your underlying application infrastructure correlate with that performance?  How can you be alerted when my application performance deviates from normal? And can you correlate non-HP monitoring metrics as well?

These are the questions routinely fielded from many of J9's HP BSM customers. vCenter Operations Enterprise can help answer these questions through Predictive and Proactive Analysis of HP BSM metric data.

Join us to see how vCenter Operations Enterprise can answer these questions using HP BSM  to achieve the following:

1. True Proactive and Predictive Alerting to Mitigate Risk of Critical Business Applications
2. Reduce Alerts and Avoid Alert Storms to Improve Efficiency
3. Reduce and Eliminate False Positives to Eliminate Wasting Valuable Time
4. Correlate Metrics and Speed Root Cause Troubleshooting
5. Provide a Flexible, Easy to Use and Business Friendly Dashboard System to Show IT truly supporting the Business.

Join us and see how we can further increase your return on investment in HP BSM with vCenter Operations Enterprise from VMware!

Please register as soon as possible for this event, so we may order lunches accordingly, but not later than Sunday, November 13th.  Contact Sandy Schubert with any questions at sandy@j9tech.com

Hope to see you there!
