Title:

Going Mobile: How to make sure your mobile applications don't slow down the rest of your world

Abstract:

Join two of the tech industry’s most respected thought leaders, Todd DeCapua (Shunra) and John Jeremiah (HP) for an interactive roundtable discussion. The addition of just a few mobile users to an existing, traditional system can have dire consequences on the overall performance of the application. Because mobile clients consume infrastructure resources at a very different pace from traditional systems, when deploying mobile solutions, you need to adequately test the performance of the application both with and without mobile clients. In this roundtable, we will explore the performance implications of mobile applications and specifically the possible impact that mobile access can have on existing performance. We will also discuss how to discover and remediate performance issues before they impact end users.

Products discussed: HP Performance Center, HP LoadRunner, Shunra Network Virtualization
