* Denotes that this session will be part of the webinar.
Our first session will focus on HP's software and how it can be leveraged in a DevOps environment. We're specifically looking at what it can do and what's new. HP's Mark Bodman will be joining us in person and presenting on this topic. Mark is a 20+ year industry veteran, Chief Enterprise Architect, and
"the man" when it comes to implementing DevOps. So regardless as to whether your organization is already using HP's operations and applications software in a DevOps environment or is simply thinking about it, it'd be a good idea to attend and hear what he has to say.
Our second session will focus on how a local customer is using its various HP operations and applications software in a DevOps environment. Many of you already know of CenturyLink Technology Solutions from St. Louis Agile Lync, so it shouldn't come as a shock that they are also heavily involved in the DevOops space. And as with Agile Lync, they is more than happy to share their experiences with our user community in the hopes of uplifting everyone. Our speaker, Art Sanderson, is an Enterprise Applications Manger and experienced DevOps leader with over 20 years' experience and has been instrumental in the success that CTS has enjoyed in the agile / DevOps space. Expect to have an honest and enlightening conversation with him as to how CenturyLink is leveraging their HP tools to yield consistent and quality results. I hope you enjoy it; I know I will.
Our third session will focus on Continuous Integration and Orasi Software's Jean Suplick will be joining us for this topic. If your organization is practicing agile, then hopefully, you've already know what this is and how it might be achieved using your HP products. But regardless as to whether you are or not, Jean will show us the process around it, the tools involved with it, and some of the best practices and pitfalls one might leverage and avoid, respectively.
After the third session, we'll have a Q&A session that although slated for 15 minutes, can last as long as it needs to.
Also, we'll be meeting with prospective chapter leaders after the meeting. If you're interested in joining us, please stick around. Being a chapter leader can be good for both you and your employing organization in that it'll help you grow professionally and help get more out of the tools your company has invested in. It's also important to you your fellow chapter members, as we can't continue to have events like this and grow the chapter without our members' help. So if you value what we've been able to deliver thus far, then please consider becoming a part of it.
Finally, please remember to thank HP & Orasi Software for sponsoring this event.
They've teamed up to provide the venue, speakers, food, and giveaways. Without
their assistance, this would not be possible. So thanks a bunch; we
We hope to see you all there! Any questions? I'm sure you'll let us know!
