Never before in history there was such a rich repository of data – from customer footprint to machine logs, from online buying to social network interactions, and all of this is now being actively analyzed for insights through big data platforms and solutions. The real value of this opportunity would come when we are able to integrate this big data analytics to point of deployments in real time. Traditionally, the availability of the analytics at point of deployment for decision making in real time has been a challenge with very few successful use cases that also were primarily built on somewhat static rules engines. Big data analytics is a potential game changer in this sense, as it does promise the capability to manage speed and complexity of analyzing information in real time. The real transformation would be when big data analytics is brought closest to point of deployment and converted into real time analytics. However, there aren’t too many use cases for analytics managers to assess best practices and design successful deployments of real time analytics.

The webinar will cover point of view on three key considerations for analytics managers while planning for this transformation:

1.       Plan itself for real time analytics leveraging big data

2.       Align business processes and algorithms to minimize redundancies

3.       Institute checks and balances for better control of the outcomes
