Feedback and Escalation

One of the primary services of any user group is advocacy.  For Vivit this means communicating and promoting the ideas, needs, and experiences of the users of HP and Partner products and services back to HP Software and Partners.  Our advocacy efforts also aim to influence how HP changes or enhances these products and services, including the development of new products and services to satisfy the user communities' current and future needs.  Vivit provides many opportunities for members to provide direct feedback to both HP and to Partners.

Feedback and Escalation Program Goals:

• To provide an on-line repository for the collection and processing (voting and reporting) of requirements and issues  to vendors.  This involves soliciting, tabulating, and prioritizing end-user ideas, needs and experiences with HP products and services on a regular basis. Then as necessary, soliciting additional information to supplement the regular data collection Communicate the above information to HP in a timely fashion

• To provide a common process for input to vendor's divisions/business units and a common method of communication back to the users

• To determine those services and programs that can be leveraged for the greater good of HP customers,  who are expanding their breadth of use of HP technologies and services

Sample Tasks performed by volunteers and coordinated by the Advocacy Group:

- Annual survey of "all" users with a broad scope
- Ad hoc surveys of "selected groups of" users with a limited scope
- Creating and presenting reports on the above data to HP
- On-going collection of specific issues and requirements, communicating these to HP
- Communicating HP's responses to the user community
