From a client:
Our application is a Java based Portal application. Within it, certain functionalities call for lightbox (or child pop-up windows) when clicked on certain links. ZK Framework AJAX code is in the background of these lighboxes.
While trying to automate this using the LoadRunner tool, we realized that LR tool does not fully support this level of AJAX code.
As a Performance Testing expert, could you please advice on how LR can overcome this issue? |

Can you please elaborate more on your application? like what protocol it uses, what type of client it is?
As you mentioned it is a Java based application, Is it a browser based (applet) or a thick client? _________________ Regards,

What version of LoadRunner are you using. I believe, LR 9.5 has an improvised feature for AJAX based app's like some new functions and so on.
Also, try to understand the architecture of your application and the communication protocol between different components.
Also, what made you identify that "LR tool doesn't support this level of Ajax Code"...Did you get any error messages or Validated it somewhere ?
Remember that, LR engine will not record any client-side activity. But, as long as there's a client-server traffic, LR should support it.
