|
|
I am new to QTP, and I need to get up to speed on QTP 9.5 as soon as possible. I would like to take HP's QTP 9.5 training class the week of April 6 in Burlington, MA. However, the class might be cancelled if there is insufficient enrollment.
I understand from the HP Software Education Services Public Training Coordinator that the QTP training may be offered virtually, and that option would work for me as well. However, the virtual training option for QTP 9.5 does not appear on the HP Software Education website at the present time.
Can anyone recommend QTP training classes that have worked for them, either virtual or in-person? Is the HP class the best option out there, or are there alternatives that are just as good? Although my preference would be to take the HP class, I'm exploring other options in case the HP class falls through. Thanks for any input you can provide. _________________ Howard Boles

Paul, aren't you an instructor at Checkpoint Technologies? While I appreciate your response, it gave the impression that you were a student. _________________ Howard Boles

| While I am a certified QC instructor, my primary role is as a consultant and I did indeed take the QTP training course with Checkpoint Technologies. The QTP instructors are excellent. |

Great! Thanks for the clarification. I will keep Checkpoint in mind if my training budget includes an allowance for traveling. _________________ Howard Boles

| I realize this subject has probably been settled by now, but for anyone else looking for training, you might investigate Span Technologies out of Manhattan, NY. I'm not sure how active they are in training QTP / QC / LR users nowadays, but when I was there a couple of years ago, they did a great job in training me. So I highly recommend them. |

| Nevermind; I think Span is gone. This makes me sad. |
