HP SERVICE MANAGER IS NOW CERTIFIED GOLD IN ITIL v3 BY OGC!

HP Service Manager 7.10 is now listed on the official OGC website with more OGC-certified ITIL v3 processes than any other product.  Why is this significant?

HP is the only vendor with four OGC–endorsed ITIL v3 processes certified at the Gold level. Having HP show up strongly on the OGC website demonstrates that HP has more processes than anyone that meet this single, definitive standard endorsed by the creators of ITIL, and the Gold status indicates that multiple companies have provided clear written evidence that they have implemented and are actively using the tool for each certifiable process. The four Gold certified processes are Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, and Service Asset & Configuration Management.

INDEPENDENT REPORT IDENTIFIES HP AS A LEADER IN PROJECT PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT SOLUTIONS

On December 21, 2009, Forrester Research Inc. published an independent report, “The Forrester Wave™: Project Portfolio Management, Q4 2009”,  evaluating project portfolio management (PPM) solutions from 14 vendors. HP Project and Portfolio Management Center earned the highest score in current offering for IT-driven PPM.

The report described HP Project and Portfolio Management Center 8.0 as “well suited to organizations with complex IT management needs.”  Forrester observes that “HP continues to build out its vision for managing IT like a business with greater emphasis on executive visibility into the impact and cost of IT investments.  HP PPM provides depth in managing various types of IT projects and continues to add integrations and features, such as financial management, that support IT management decisions.”  Read the full report for more detail.

WEBINAR: JETBLUE'S STEPS TO OPTIMIZING COSTS AND QUALITY PRACTICES

Feeling the pressure of tighter budgets and complex applications, the QA team at JetBlue re-evaluated its approach to application quality management in order to turn a potentially negative situation into a win-win for the business.

Once JetBlue realized the constraints of using open source, manual test documentation, and, yes, even filing cabinets to track its testing efforts, jetBlue opted to move to a quality management solution that would provide scalability as well as improved efficiencies and effectiveness. Now the team operates an easily maintainable, reusable, and cost-efficient quality practice.

Join Sagi Verghese of jetBlue as he shares the steps he and his team took in evaluating the testing demands of his QA department, the options they explored, and the outcome and benefits of their final decision.  View Now
