Runbook Automation - What is it? What are the use cases? Is this just for the help desk? I heard it can be used for integrations?

This four-hour session will start out with the basics, discussing what runbook automation is, discussing some practical, real-world use cases including leveraging runbook automation for security compliance and integrations, and begin training you on the industry leading runbook automation platform - HP Operations Orchestration.

The training will start out for beginners walking through the basics of Operations Orchestration. We'll create flows from scratch and dive into the many out-of-box work flows that can be used out-of-the-box. Once we have the basics, we'll explore practical use cases and then dive into using Operations Orchestration to facilitate seamless integrations without a single line of custom code or scripting. With Operations Orchestration as the integration interface, you have an industry leading vendor supported tool for many, or all, of your integrations needs instead of costly, hard to support point solutions. For advanced users, scripters and programmers, we'll also take a look at how to extend Operations Orchestration with custom operations.
