Under the guidance of our new Vivit Leader, Milan Danrel, the Toronto Local User Group recently held a Spring Event for the community to share best practices and lessons learned.  Attendees learned how HP Enterprise customers have achieved their goals in key areas such as Agile, DevOps, Performance Engineering.  The agenda included a presentation by Guy Dansereau, Solution Architect with Mouvement Desjardins.  Guy shared how his team is leveraging HPE Business Process Testing and ALM to achieve their test automation objectives with a durable test automation process.  Milan did a great job coordinating this event with all involved;  HPE, the guest speakers and the Vivit members within the Toronto area.  Vivit appreciates all that you do Milan!  Keep up the great work.

The Importance of Adding Our Email Address to Your Safe Sender List

Posted By Jill Stefan, Vivit Marketing Director, Wednesday, March 29, 2017

As many of you know, we implemented a new webinar platform last year and are very pleased with our results. Vivit continues to bring our members company product updates and new releases from the best and the brightest through our weekly webinars on this platform. To keep the process of attending our webinars as easy as possible for our members and to have information readily available on how to join via a link or dial-in instructions, we will be implementing an option to add our webinars to your calendar after registering.  But, until that option is available, we are asking all members who register for a webinar to add our email address to your email safe sender list.
By adding this email to your safe sender list, you will also be assured to receive our monthly newsletters, emails and notifications from your LUG and SIG leaders on a timely basis.
We will keep you updated as new options are introduced.

Software Lifecycle Integration SIG

Jeff Downs

Vivit Software Lifecycle Integration SIG is a virtual community of software practitioners and managers who discuss how to create tool infrastructures and processes that increase the collaboration and interaction among the members of the software development and delivery team.
This group focuses on seamlessly connecting our HPE tools with the third-party tools that inevitably exist in our ecosystems.  We share our stories (good and bad), share ideas and work together to eliminate a longstanding pain point in the software development lifecycle.  We hope you join this SIG if this is of interest to you.

Vivit Membership Updates

Posted By Lyndsey Zajac, Thursday, February 9, 2017
Updated: Wednesday, January 25, 2017

Mark Ford, Membership Chair
Vivit Board of Directors

Hello everyone!   I would like to take a few moments to update you on some great accomplishments that Vivit achieved in 2016 and mention some areas where we are focusing next.

Vivit Refresh – I’m sure you’ve noticed the new Vivit logo and color scheme.  It’s a new look and a purposeful recommitment that we aren’t going anywhere but are here to serve you – our valued Vivit Members!  If you are looking for a great way to explain Vivit to others, please download our New Membership Brochure.  It’s a great conversation starter and explains who and what Vivit is – with quotes from Vivit members just like you!

Vivit Website – If you haven’t been to our refreshed Vivit website, you really need to check it out!  Our website provider now uses Vivit as an example when showing other customers how to refresh their websites.  Our team did a great job, and I couldn’t be more pleased.  It formats so much better on mobile devices as well so you can continue your Vivit experience on the go!

Vivit Webinars – We have a new Webinar platform provider to improve the content that Vivit delivers to you!  We’ve enhanced Webinar registrations so you don’t have to fill in all of your details when you register – saving you time! We’re continually working on streamlining and improving our Webinar registrations, event access, and more.  Our Webinar platform provider is rolling out additional updates this year as well, so stay tuned for that!

Vivit InForum – The monthly InForum also received a refresh, but did you know that you can now receive targeted content that is more relevant to your business needs?  Simply update the HPE Products Used sections on your Vivit member profile to include the products you are most interested in.  We’ve broken them up into five different categories to make them easier to find.  You'll get special editions of the monthly InForum delivered to you based on your product choices!

Vivit Membership – We’re closing in on 40,000 Vivit members with a goal of 42,000 by June 1st.  That’s a lot of members!  The Vivit Membership Committee meets bi-monthly to discuss ways to not just grow the membership but increase the value of Vivit for existing members as well.  We’re always looking for new committee members, so if you are interested, please let me know.  Conferences and Webinars are big draws for new members and of course your word of mouth helps too!

Vivit Gamification - We're working on a new gamification program to encourage members to contribute to Vivit. We'd like to see virtual networking grow this year through options such as: lively online forums, curated content, user case stories, mentors, and of course, social media participation.  We know that driving more and better content into Vivit will help drive membership!

Vivit Mobile App - We're also considering the feasibility of creating a mobile app for Vivit.  It will likely be something simple vs. a full blown native app.  For instance, it could provide options to download archived Webinars to watch offline later, options to receive mobile notifications of Vivit related content, upcoming webinars you’ve registered for, and other targeted communications.  Of course, shortcuts to the Vivit Website, profile updates, and more could be very handy.  Imagine how cool it would be to have the new Vivit logo on your Android or iOS home screen!

Thank you so much for being a part of the Vivit family.  We value your input, opinions, and contributions large and small.  If you have any questions or would just like to share a thought, please contact me.

Mark Ford
Vivit Membership Director
