11:45 AM Lunch and Networking Sponsored by EView Technologies
12:15 PM EView Technology - Integration of IBM Mainframe and iSeries (AS/400) environments into Operations (OM and Operations Bridge), UCMDB Discovery, and Analytics
12:30 PM Operations Analytics - IT data centers today generate massive volumes of operational data such as performance, security, system and application log files, events, topology and much more. In order to use this information effectively there needs to be a way to identify the important from the unimportant so that trends can be identified and changes made before outages occur. HP Operations Analytics is solution that will help your customers to collect, filter, store and analyze this information in ways no other product in the market can.
1:30 PM What’s new in BSM (BSM .9.25 & Omi 10) Latest updates
What’s new in BSM (BSM 9.5 and Omi 10) OMi 10 is now available! It’s the next step in infrastructure monitoring to understand the health of each IT resource. Automated monitoring by itself isn’t enough in today’s highly complex environments. You not only need to know the symptoms of a problem, application response time for example, but you also need to know the context of the issue as well. Is it the network, virtual operating’s system, an application bug or something else. Point tools used to identify specific issues don’t see the entire context of the environment. Operations teams need a single picture of truth to best identify the point of failure and rectify it quickly. OMi is a bridge technology that can dramatically reduce mean time to resolution, slash operating costs and raise operational efficiencies. BSM 9.25 has also just been released, it now offers new mobility monitoring so the operations teams can proactively monitor end user flows on real devices. It also has a new user interface, which makes the product easier to learn and use.
