Rocky Pisto wrote on the Special Interest Group: Network Management wall: Hope all is well. As a Vivit Member and End User customer or practitioner, we would love to hear how your company is using Micro Focus Software. Let us know if your interested in sharing your experience with the tools in one of the IT Operations categories listed below. It is a great way to network and get exposure with your peers. Our next scheduled SIGTalk IT Operations available slots would be May 17, 2018. Let us know if you would like to share a 15-20 minute end user focused presentation or demo. We start the marketing for this the first week of April. http://www.vivit-worldwide.org/?page=SIGTalk What is a SIG Talk? A SIG Talk is a presentation with three 12-15-minute segments by different speakers. These speakers will share their knowledge, experience and learning via real world experiences, best practices and demos. Our objective is to be an advocate providing our Vivit members with the opportunity to spread education throughout our community with your help and expertise. Our plan for the ITOM SIG Talk Series: 1. Monthly SIG Talk focused on IT Operations Pillars groupings listed below. • Operations Bridge (OpsB) • Service Management Automation (SMA) • Hybrid Cloud Management (HCM) • Data Center Automation (DCA) • Network Operations Management (NOM) • Data Protection (DP) 2. Each monthly SIG Talk will have three, 12-18 minute presentations by three different speakers, discussing IT Operations related tool practitioner type information. 3. The SIG Talks IT Operations are planned to be scheduled on the third Thursday of every month. Our first event is scheduled for March 15, 2018. 4. What is involved? Each Leader is responsible for organizing the speakers and moderating the event. You can even be one of the 3 presenters. Great exposure! Please let me know if you would like to be a part of this new concept to bring relevant content to the Vivit members and grow our community. 2018 dates for SIG Talks IT Operations: • March 15, 2018 • April 19, 2018 • May 17, 2018 • June 21, 2018 • July 19, 2018 • August 16, 2018 • September 20, 2018 • October 18, 2018 • November 15, 2018 • December 20, 2018 • January 17, 2019 • February 21, 2019 Hope all is well.
