Vin Solutions (part of Cox Automotive) needed an enterprise-ready, scalable and traceable test and quality management solution to meet their DevOps initiatives. After leveraging currently deployed solutions, UFT One for functional testing and LoadRunner for performance testing, Vin Solutions also implemented ALM/Quality Center as an integration point for continuous deployment and continuous integration. By adding UFT Developer for test management on the IDE of choice, Vin Solutions positioned ALM/Quality Center as the hub and center of the testing and quality process. This provided efficiencies at scale as well as the ability to manage and track multiple teams across the application lifecycle in their testing and quality efforts. With Micro Focus, Vin Solutions has increased test coverage and test velocity, as well as improved transparency and visibility of the testing process—all while enabling Development and QA teams to meet their quality initiatives.
