CMS 2019.02 was released earlier this month including Universal Discovery (UD) and Universal CMDB (UCMDB).
The release provides the ability to create policies on CIs to meet specific business requirements, and then report on the enterprise’s compliance to those policies.
This release also expands Universal Discovery’s Cloud & Container discovery capabilities by introducing the Oracle Cloud discovery and extending AWS, Azure and Google Cloud discovery capabilities.
The release adds several new capabilities on top of this including:
- Wiki-based help system
- Enhancements to REST API
- Extended Support Matrix Coverage including openSUSE Leap 15.0,
- PostgreSQL version 11.0
- Data Flow Probes installed on Linux platform can be used for cloud discovery purpose
- Discovery of Apple macOS 10.14 Mojave
- Pure Storage discovery
- Discovers Cluster Quota, Kubernetes Quota, and Openshift Quota Config.
- And many other enhancements and fixes.
