A few weeks back I had the opportunity to give a talk at the Micro Focus ADM Summit in Chicago, titled 'How Independent Health reduces testing time and costs with UFT'. This session was both a technical deep dive into the capabilities lying within UFT, as well as a hope to open up eyes to features available to testers. Frequently Micro Focus is adding features and capabilities to our software and as a customer, we may not be aware of these new gems.

As we all do our own versions of spring cleaning, I encourage anyone with Micro Focus software, or those considering buying some, to look at the full feature set available. Each upgrade I take of UFT, ALM, and LoadRunner I revisit the features available to me. For example, UFT 14.52 has a really nifty feature that allows me to plug in a mobile device and automate right from my PC without the need to integrate with Mobile Center - this is huge! (And it cost me nothing - good job R&D peeps - we appreciate the consistent value you are adding for us!)

We all love to geek out about the software we use on a consistent basis. Save a little time by knowing what you own and 'what is in your toolbox'.
